UPDATE **Go HERE! for all of the information, links to each post, post dates, and any other explanations on the YAspooktacular event!**
Hey friends, guess what started today? That's right! The YAspooktacular (Tales from under the Grave) event!
So here's the deal. Two spooky stories were written in 13 parts each and will be posted on various book blogs for you to read. We've got writers like Kimberly Derting, Heather Brewer, Christine Johnson, Myra McEntire, and so, so many more (along with some aspiring writers too--like me!) that have taken part in writing these stories! Links to the next part of each story will be provided on each blog.
And here's how the prizes work. At the very end of each story you will have the chance to enter a giveaway for a prize pack! There is one prize pack for each story (you can enter just one or both, it's up to you!) and there will also be an international prize as well! But to be eligible for the giveaway you also have to comment on each part of the story on the different blogs too, so don't forget to do that!
Also, along the way some blogs might host a Trick or Treat (ToTs) where you can win mini prizes or more entries into the grand prize packs! Each ToT will be different and the rules for them will be told on each blog that is hosting them. For all the rules, explanation of prizes, and list of blogs hosting the story parts, go here!
The section (part 9) that I wrote for the story, DARKNESS, will be up on the blog Books and Makeup by Michelle and Leslie on October 26, so make sure you check that out! And I will be hosting Part 11 of the story, SOUL LAID BARE, on October 27, so come back for that!
So, here are the first parts of each story! Just click on the pictures!
(Each of these two links will also explain the contest and prizes in a little more depth for you. And these two bloggers were the brains and start of this whole event so YAY! for them! They rock!)
I'm so excited to be a part of this event! It's such a unique opportunity to be able to 'work' with published authors when I'm still just an aspiring writer! ;) It's been a lot of fun to be a part of and I hope you all enjoy it!!
